It was reported that Baijal emphasized providing inhabitants of these colonies with access to social infrastructure as well as fundamental municipal amenities.

On Friday, a delegation of residents and members of resident welfare organizations of unauthorized colonies presented Prime Minister Narendra Modi with gifts and congratulations in recognition of his government’s plan to grant them ownership rights.
